On July 29 I will be reporting on the 88 Lives Project with Jordan Rich on WBZ Radio (1030 AM,http://player.radio.com/player/RadioPlayer.php?version=1.2.10286&station=92 ). The interview is scheduled for July 29 at midnight Eastern Time.
I will be discussing clips from our more than 30 hours of interviews. The clips include the following themes: sadness; making choices; taking charge; and what's-the-matter-with-kids-today.
The 88 Lives Project is all about using the power of conversation to make the thought of "aging" a bit less threatening and a bit less dreaded.

Words of Wisdom
Stay active mentally and physically. And the mental is very, very important. Aside from working on the computer the other thing I do is play the organ. I have electronic organ in my apartment. I actually worked as an organist for a few years. I have not done very much until I moved here but I started doing it again for the form of exercise. I play occasionally at a church and there are services here once a month my play those as well. That's how I keep active.

Dealing with the loss of a spouse
It involved a lot of denial for a good long while. But for the support of friends and family and wonderful strong faith is very important. You just aren't given the choice. And then I was presented new challenges immediately, I lost my father and sister shortly thereafter. I had to face new things.

Pacemaker
I'm a little apprehensive about this pacemaker. I wonder how I would deal with. Other people I talk to tell me it’s nothing. They say don't worry. But I'm still apprehensive.
